AIHS commits to advancing knowledge, improving health practice, and creating lasting impact in communities. The Research and Innovation arm leads and coordinates the Institute’s research agenda, fosters innovation, and promotes the generation of evidence based on community lived realities that inform policy, education, and practice. Working collaboratively with students, tutors, researchers, communities, and local and international partners, the Institute aims to strengthen research capacity, support innovative solutions to emerging health challenges, and facilitate knowledge exchange — translating research into meaningful action that improves health outcomes and contributes to sustainable community development.
